If only I was 15.... well, this is not relevant to any of us, but thought I'd post it up here anyway. Great to see the Italian Federation making this kind of effort!
Your children would need to be registered FISS members, but if you have any budding speedskaters out there, this would be a brilliant opportunity.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Dear Sirs,
since some years the Italian Federation is organising some summer speed skating campus, having the duration of one week, in touristic venues, equipped for our sports discipline, for 8-15 years skaters , who have just taken part in competitions.
The Comité Européen de Course, with the agreement of the Italian Federation, should like to offer this opportunity to all young skaters of clubs of all European countries, involving, ofcourse, coaches and families.
Before sending an official informative circular letter, we should like to know in advance the interest of European countries for this activity.
Please find here below some info about 2005 campus.
Campus for 8-11 years skaters: BORMIO (Sondrio) from June 26 till July 03.
Campus for 12-15 years skaters: PIANCAVALLo (Pordenone) from July 31 till August 07.
Sports venues: Sports Hall with flat track , mt 60 x 30 mt.
Hotels
BORMIO: San Vitale Hotel, for skaters only. Lux Miramonti Hotel for accompanying people.
PIANCAVALLO: Parkhotel Monte Cavallo for skaters and accompanying people.
Weekly technical program prepared by FIHP' Scuola di Pattinaggio (SIPaR), with two daily sessions (morning, afternoon or night).
Other sports activities, for example mountainbike, are foreseen, sometimes with a contribution of 3 EUR each.
Technical Staff: Mr. Paolo Marcelloni, Responsible of SIPaR with other technicians and coaches of the Italian Federation.
Entries: within and not later than May 30.

Costs:
Skating campus: 60,00 EUR to be sent to the Italian Federation.
Accomodation and meals: 35,00 EUR per day for skaters, to be paid to hotel. For accompanying people the price will be similar, but it must be agreed with touristic local organisations.
The C.E.C. is glad to inform you that for groups composed of at least 6/7 skaters , German or English speaking, will pay for an interpreter during skating sessions.
For organising reasosn, we kindly ask you to let us know urgently if you are interested in such proposal.
In case of positive reply, it will be our care to send you as soon as possible FIHP's official documentation for the corresponding entries.
