Was sent details of this ride from LCC.

Their description is
Quote:

Meet at Teddington station at 10.30 for a ride on quiet roads and
rural tracks to Box Hill, Southern England's nearest approach to an
alpine road. Lunch at a pub on the top. The return is mostly downhill
if only by comparison. Burn off those seasonal calories

Details a little sketchy but looks like a great ride, so anyone else making this a big attendance for LSCT Very Happy

**EDIT** Actually just noticed this is on same day as the Ashbourne Indoor Race, so bear that in mind. I will prob still do ride though

Are they more inclusive to non-club members, i.e. if we just turn up, are they likely to be just like the YACF lot, or more like the TCC?

I might be up for something (possibly open to Saturday), won't know till closer to the time.

I assume that a ride of this distance (35 miles), if done early, will leave ample time to do something in the early afternoon?

Saturday would actually work better for me than Sunday, especially if we can be back in town for 2-3pm

I've never done an LCC ride myself so can't tell you first-hand how they react to non-members, but I'd be surprised if it was anything like Andy's experience with Twickenham.
