Note the comments, especially:
"chicken armed the second corner" (that's exactly my problem, swinging arms like chicken wings flapping around the farmyard)
"lost the lock in my hips" (that's really accurate, if your hips flop around your stroke's a goner)
"a lot of upper body movement in the final stretch and really didnt finish my strokes" (another accurate insight)
This guy doesn't just win world championships and break world records, he also has a sharp brain for skating analysis, not to mention a sense of humour. And self-effacing too. I think he's my hero (after Ed of course). |
