Due to a cancellation by one of the other clubs, LSST were invited, and accepted and offer to host an additional Club Race at Tatem Park on Sunday 8 June 2008.

There are no further details at this time of the format, but it is likely this will involve a couple of none standard races (reverse direction?) and will definitely be billed as a warm up for the British Track Championships.

We are hoping to obtain the official FISS timing system (as used for the Championships) in order to offer timed laps, certificates etc so something to really see how fast you are.

Full details will be posted as soon as possible but put the date in your diary and even if you don't fancy trying your hand at racing, it really is a fun day out to spectate. You could even skate there, its only 10 miles from Hyde Park Laughing

Sounds great Andy, reverse direction race would be most interesting. Seperate handicapped rat races for adults and kiddies would also be good and may get some of the social skaters to try their hand.
