In case you don't know the day before the marathon there will be a sprint relay race at Lee Valley - more info on www.skatelondon.com

| I fancy it but it can’t be too fast or else I will destroy my race in the next day... I am rather fragile at the moment. What is the largest team that we can field? |

| I might be up for that as well. Good to get a first impression of Lee Valley at speed. |

Not that useful, I hear we are running the circuit backwards... |

| Yep, it's going in reverse. Why? It makes a change, it's more like Le Mans as motor racing circuits go the other way but mainly it is because we looked at the start finish straight and it makes relaying easier and safer as there is a concrete area to stand aside when you are waiting and the relay zone will be slightly downhill rather than uphill which means the incoming sakte might actually be carrying some momentum to transfer. |

Adam has written a draft rule of teams of 2 to 6.
I would recommend fielding teams of 3 or 4 skaters. Each lap is going to be done in about 3 minutes by anyone going for it. That means 3 skaters could do either 3 laps a piece or one will only do 2. 4 skaters and if you are a bit slow one skater might only get one lap, but every one should get 2 laps one "lucky" person might get to start just before the 24 minutes are up and do a leisure lap if nobody else has done that many.
Getting knackered shouldn't be a problem.
BTW we are going to need some additional race numbers for this event. It is a Skate London event rather than an LSST or LIM event but I will be officiating it. If it's possible for you to do some more numbers of from 1 to 20 in packs of 6 that would be great, please Hans. |

Whatever - it still sounds like good fun.
Btw, OT question: I understand the Saturday events are 10 GBP no matter what and how many things you do? Hard for the speed people not slaloming Will the workshops be free, is there an extra fee or are they covered by those 10 quid? |
