Registration is now open for the 2008 London Inline Marathon (LIM) which will be held on Sunday August 31st 2008 at the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit, near Heathrow. This is the 6th year we're running this event.
The programme kicks off with the mini races start at 11:00, then we've got a break before the Full and Half marathons kick off at 14:00. We'll keep the track open as long as we can to allow people to finish, although the official end is at 16:30.
The LIM is also hosting the British Marathon Championships this year. To be eligible to enter the Brit Champs, you'll need to be registered with FISS (Federation of Inline Speed Skating), and be a British Citizen, or you have lived in the UK for the past 3 consecutive years.
We're also planning to hold some fun stuff between the minis and the full/half marathon. One of the ideas is to re-run the hilarious '24 minutes of LIM' that was inaugurated at SkateLondon 2006. I'll let one of the boys explain the rules...
To register for the 2008 London Inline Marathon, visit the LIM website. The earlier you register, the less you pay! |

Thanks - missed that deadline - but will registered today anyway. Just saw another post, on the members' section, where you explained how LSST members affect their discount.

Sparky will be attending. If he asks you for a bet, don't do it, it will cost you dearly |

I'm not too fussed if you beat Glenn, but if I get passed buy someone on 80s in a nurses outfit, well I have my pride. (Looks like I owe your charity another fiver.) |

| Taking a leaf out of Camberley's book, we've kept the online entry price of the LIM at the lower price until 29th August when the online registration closes. LSST members, don't forget you get £5 off the full (£2 off the half). Use the link in the member's forum. |
