it's up for sale for the highest bidder |
Maja (from Le Mans LSST Ladies 2 team) is sitting on the fence, but really wants to be persuaded to do the LIM, I am sure if you offered your reg for say half price, she would take it
Let me know today (she has to arrange day off work) and I will sort out |

... if anybody has great insider tips for travelling Gatwick <-> London let me know please, me and UK railway websites just don't seem to cooperate very well |

very easy, very difficult to go wrong. You'll end up at Victoria.
Either get on the Gatwick express (£2 cheaper if you buy your ticket before getting on the train I think), or better, see if there is a normal train passing through and buy a normal train ticket to victoria... about half the price but less frequent. |

Here is a website from Southern trains. They travel to Gatwick from Victoria station. Their trains depart every 15 minutes from Victoria and vice versa. The price for a single fare is £9 as opposed to £14 with Gatwick Express (or £25 for a return). The journey time is 40 minutes which 5 minutes more than Gatwick Express. I would highly recommend this service.

Also be aware you can travel to London Bridge or Blackfriars on Thames link
They have some superb offers depending on who/how many travelling (for instance last Monday 4xadults return £50 total)
If you want more info let me know who how many and PM me |

Thanks guys! Guess we'll try to go for a cheap deal on Southern. There is some group saving deals as well - just I cannot work out if this is valid from Gatwick and also possible on Monday evening (rush hours)
Otherwise it's also £50 for a group saver on the Gatwick Express, works out nicely as we're three people. |

Check that its return....I think you will find that is one way whereas the Thames link is for return prices
Good luck |

I don't have an idea of all of the names of all you guys that helped put today on, so I am not going to try. It was clear from just looking in as on outsider that there were loads of things in the background that brought it all together, and as far as I could see it all worked superbly!
A really big THANK YOU and a very deserved WELL DONE to ALL of you

That was a great race - Well done Hans the new British Marathon Champion - pipping Matt Price on the line with a powerful sprint - looks like Han's might have recovered from his efforts at le Mans |

Very nice indeed
Pity I had to give up after 8 or 9 laps (lost count at that point) as the blisters I Inherited from Goodwood came back with a vengeance ...
In the other hand It felt quite good to help Natasha out at the water station by giving water and cheering people up with ED (Another one with the 'my feet hurt' excuse ) |

Just unloaded the car and phew. That's over for this year. Yippee.
It's pretty hard work so some of us. I am just glad that many hands make lighter work. Was especially good to have someone take over the control of the marshalling this year as I needed to officiate. I usually get super stressed on the day. I was only mildly stressed. A thank you to everyone who helped out huge loads especially huge thanks you to those that did all the stuff before hand.
I am now going to rest. |

| ...heartfelt thanks to all those who organised and helped with this great event! Mixed feelings about this being the last one at Lee Valley... let's face it, it's a tough course! George supplied me with motivation and good vibes - it was really good to skate with you! (again) |
