|
|
Here and there I have heard some rumors that there are long-distance inline races on the continent on a regular basis e.g. in France.
By long-distance I mean that the race duration is say 3-6 hours.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to find out about such races, if they do in fact exist?
Thanks in advance,
George |

| A few of us do London To Brighton, London To Cambridge, London To Windsor - they are BHF cycle rides, not races, but we skate along with them. I think London To Southend is coming up in two weeks, a couple of people are going to do it (not me). |

it's a shame that these long-distance things all happen at the same time. London-Brighton is always on the weekend immediately prior to Le Mans - crazy!
WHo is skating the Southend one? |

Toby and Ono are talking about it - I suspect they're both a fair bit slower than yourself George. Thread here: http://www.serpentineroad.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=35339
I'm hoping to do London to Cambridge on 25 July. Tanya was speculating she might also do it but that was before her combination holiday & motorbike accident - I have not asked her recently. Sparky has also mentioned the possibility of doing it, although again I've not asked him recently. I did L2C on rec skates last year in 4hr55 for 59 miles. It's a nicer route than L2B. Would do it on Bonts this year. |

Hey George,
Like I mentioned on the weekend, apparently there's a 6 hrs Le Mans type event in Holland mid August - but you weren't sure you'd be ready by then.

I checked what it could be and found something in Belgium.
Belgium... Holland... Isn't it all the same anyway? |
