Thanks to unreliable friends, I was able to make this!
It was an impressive turnout Mike, and great session. The scooter drill really killed my quads

I must admit I was well down on power on the hills on the way home too. Or perhaps that was due to racing a couple of cyclists.
Very impressive turnout, especially considering the cold! Apart from the putting on and taking off of skates, I was super toasty and comfortable throughout. You guys all deserve a gold star for being hardcore and coming out tonight. |

Same re: scooters and quads - though I got up Putney Hill better than Wednesday night.
It felt like my right frame was off a bit during the scootering... I'm not sure if needs fixing or if my ankle just needs toughening up ( baring in mind I've not got so many skating miles under by belt at the moment ). No harm in tweaking the frame I suppose... |
