Might be there on Tuesday, assuming it's dry and I can be motivated to leave here at 06.30 for the 30 mile return cycle ride.

I would like to join in for this week.
I have a 9:00am lecture on Tuesday but should be able to get there if I leave at 8:50 and sit through the lecture in skates, Wednesday I have the morning off, so could hang around for a bit more.
I would like to try it in the speed skates, will hopefully be able to keep up (I am getting more confident), and I can hopefully get some skate sizing/fit advice while you guys are around.

I won't be there tomorrow - it's one of the busiest days of my team's month, here at work.
May be able to make it later in the week, if dry...

Won't be there this week. My cold needs to be treated with more respect if I am to be fit for Santa Skate. Looks like its goning to be dryish for the rest of the week now including Saturday.  Very Happy Fingers crossed it stays that way.

how was it? I went for a cycle instead for 1hr30 before work. If I want to go to the park I need to organise before hand with work and make sure they know I'm getting in late. If I go cycle I can get straight in here after a good workout still on time.

It was sunny and almost warm, but still a bit slippery underfoot in places.

Well, was by the time I got there (about 8:45 ...)

Lovely.

It was cool, a little wet in places but pretty nice. Cheers for the drills Mike that was cool.
I'm glad Dan turned up in a high-vis top after the abuse I got for mine!!

ah, so YOU are Garanj.

Please change your avatar, I find it very distracting...

This morning was really nice, just right temperature, just right everything. a good number of people aswell. not too many, not too few. And I got to work on some things that Mike and I are always cursing ourselves about.

This morning was great, really enjoyed myself and got to the lecture just as it started (nothing quite like Laplace transforms in the morning).
The drills where great, got lots to work on, but I am getting comfortable with the skates, and they no longer hurt, which is great.
