There was a big problem on friday. Due to a change frezz I did not have to much on and so the Internet beckend. After seeing most of what youtub had to offer (I did say not much on) I came accross Decathlon where I could look for some new shoes. Now the ones I have are not worn out but skweek. One slip of the mouce and I am on the bike page. Now this is where things realy started to go worng becuse thay had a sale on!
Next thing I know its Saterday and I am looking at there bikes in the shop. Looking at the cheep bike the sales man could tell I was a man shoper and so any excuse to get the better bike. He could bo better out of me. Well there was no way I was going for the next bike up as it had not cash off and the one up from that was over buget (well thay all were realy). Well its only good maners to let the man tell me why I should get the middle bike, but the next one up seemed to be just wasting both of our time. That was untill I was told that I could have the top (for this range of bikes) with not £100 off (the current offer price) but £200 off.
Well my pocket was heating up at this point and I did not what to burn my self. So 30 minits latter and a few dodge laps of the shop and I was sold. I even got some SPD (Stop, Panic, Drop) shoes.

Now I am all show no go. Is any one going for a ride soon?
Eta is also looking do spend a bit more time on her bike.
(nothing to big I am still bilding up the strengs in the sack skin!)

Woo hoo - new blood!  well done simon :)

Check this out (Saturday):

http://www.londonspeedskaters.com/forums/-long-distance-sat-24-Jan-tentative--t3495.php

I'm hopeful to come to this (not sure if on a bike or on skates), although I'm supposed to be going to an all night poker session as part of my friends's joint birthday party the same evening.

And then, there's the Tatem session the next day (see PM)
