This event:
Date 29 August 2011 (Bank Holiday Monday)
Cost £35 per person (children under 16 are free).
Sponsorship There is no miniumum. Just raise as much as possible.
Suitable for Cyclists of all abilities, from world champions to complete novices, children welcome on fun ride (children under 12 must have accompanying adult cycling with them)
Events 100km road cycle challenge, mountain biking and the fun ride.
Venue Milbrook Proving Ground, Milbrook, Bedford, MK45 2JQ. Famous for Top Gear filming, the incredible and varied terrains and the secretive testing of unreleased sports cars, tanks and police vehicles.
Teams We encourage everyone to set-up a team for the cycle ride, whether it is friends, family, colleagues or other people in your local club or groups. There will be a big prize for the team to raise the most money.
I have contacted the organizers and we as LSST are welcome to skate the track. Last years was Silverstone GP track and it was very good fun. I did two laps on my skates and two by bike.
