All, FYI,
I am in the process of changing the server on which LSST and LIM are hosted. (current one is outdated)
One part of the process will probably affect your access to the forum. I plan to make this part on Friday 01/01 from 20:00 UK time [modify www.londonspeedskaters.com to point to the new server]
This will result in the following :
- The forum will be switched off while its content is copied to the new server. Once the copy is OK, I will modify www.londonspeedskaters.com to point to the new server.
- The DNS change may take some time to propagate on the Internet. If you are hitting the old server, you will be redirected to a specific address (vserver.londonspeedskaters.com) that already points to the new server today. Therefore the propagation period should be transparent to you, except that the auto-login feature will not work -- you may be asked to enter our login/password details even if you had auto-login feature activated.

Switch done. Now it may take a few hours before the change gets effective to you.
Therefore, if you read the following message:

* this means you did hit the old server, and have been redirected to the temporary address, on the new server.
* You can click the message to try the official address. if the message stays, then it means you still cannot access it
Note : though this is a temporary address, you ARE on the new server, and your posts will be visible in here as well as on www.londonspeedskaters.com when it becomes available to you. |
