In Imola on the weekend.... Ollie, Michael & Tilo all skate with me for the Experts Race Team, and represented Germany for the masters national team.
1. Sandro Ciprani, ITALIA, 1:10:32
2. Dario Friso, ITALIA
3. Oliver Engel, GERMANY
4. Heinz Zimmermann, AUSTRIA
5. Michael Puderbach, GERMANY
6. Giovanni Romano, ITALIA
7. Jean-Marc Bigey FRANCE
8. Tilo Bock, GERMANY
And Steffi Pipke from our ladies team, 2nd in the ladies!

Gees!! And Rune (my Danish teammate), replied with his Danish championship results!

Hey Gav,
don't be too scared .... these guys have already been speed-skating when you were still...   (there is a nice comparison in German which translates into absolute crap in English ) ... What I mean is that you probably have loads of time left to win competitions, when Steffi hits the AK 40 and has not grown out of skating by then Rune has been coaching the Berlin XSpeed Team "ages" ago, so he's been in business for quite some time and Tilo was probably born with skates. |
