Anyone for a nice ride post Berlin? This should be good for base training for next season.

Mid Sussex Hilly, it's nice and short at 108km and has 0.5 AAA points (Audax Altitude Award), so a fair bit of climbing, but not excessive. Audax rides are not races, they are just about completing the ride. You have to average between 10-25kph for this ride, that's including stops at controls (where you get your brevet card stamped).
Best get your entries in soon as I suspect it is filling up fast. Cost is £4.50 to AUK or CTC members, and an extra pound for insurance if you're not a member. |

Kay and I can't make that one, because we will be cyling in the Alps in the South of France
However, we will be doing the following rides, both of which are highly recommended, and easily accessed by public transport:
Ride of the Falling Leaves
Sunday 2nd October starting from Herne Hill Velodrome (120km or 80km if you want to take it easy)
For further information click here www.dulwichparagon.com
The End of Summertime
Sunday 30th October from Stevenage

NB. This is a flattish 100km so suitable for everyone. |
