Congrats to all who completed the A29 windskate : it really was tough, whatever your level. I confirm that when I saw your group happily coming down on the other side of the highway, I was only concerned with my next step : 1h20 downwind, 2h10 upwind.
I saw the big guys of our club arrive from the 120 k : took them 4h20, while they had expected under 4h00. They finished redder than I ever saw them.
Actually we were lucky : in this part of France, you normally get wind *and* rain. I mean, it nearly is British weather.
Alex, you did not say what you think of your brand new Fila M100 ? |
