fine, bit dehyrdated (but that has nothing to do with the skating!)

How you guys feeling today??

Feeling not too bad. Thank god I did not have to go in to work today. Actually, I'll have the next 2 weeks off too please just to make sure I'm fully recovered. lol
It was a nice day out, shame there weren't much (any) sunshine at all. It could be a wicked day out when a bit warmer. I felt a bit cold at times, and I would have swapped with T for a long-sleeve layer under my jacket.
I was a bit worried of the downhills, but in the end they turned out to be ok and nobody fell (down the hills anyway).
I did have some bad pain on both ankles, I think mostly due to the number of uphills we did, and maybe also because of the vibrations from poor surface at times. Paul C, Rick and myself took the small country lane from Brockenhurst to Beaulieu (you have to say "biu-ly" apparently) and it was 5 miles of real "gratton" (reminded me of my first marathon at Meru). The surface was really awful, and made the whole of the journey back to the car an unpleasant experience due to pain and bad surfaces. The one bit that Rick mentionned earlier is superb though, as good as the best tarmac in Paris and goes on for quite a bit, plus hardly any traffic too.

I have also uploaded my pictures. Enjoy!
