I have been asked to first aid, which im more than happy to do but unfortunately i have a prior engagement that morning and the only way I can get to the track by 12 is if someone can pick me up from Cockfosters tube station (or ideally outside trent park entrance) at 11.45 (its 5 miles up the road (A111) from tatem park) |

| Erika, I'll pick you up, let's arrange off-line. I'm restocking LSST's first aid kit with the items you requested last time, I'll bring it along. |

Guys,
I hope that a few more people will make the effort to support adrian at his club race this weekend.
I'll be there - although if it rains I will be very grumpy!!! (not much changes). |

I guess I'll spectate (weather permitting) as I have a gig Sunday evening and don't fancy the idea of carrying skate stuff to a rock concert. |

Well, great weather considering the forecasts, windy on the start finish, numbers were not bad either.
I came with the mission of getting two more points, and with Nick M's words reminding me that third just wasn't going to be enough.
First race was us following Errol, I had a look with two laps to go but the headwind was savage, went for it down the final bend but was out hawked for the win, still another one of those would be enough, Vish followed us in for a good third. I understand solid racing back in the line blunted the South Woodham attack.
Second race was going to be a different kettle of fish with Errol understandably unwilling to drag us round again, lots of chopping and changing, lucky I didn't have to cover many intial brakes when it all went down and Errol launched Harry I thought it was a very possible chase down, I just had to worry about who came too. One very pleased Peter.
The vets race was a nice bonus, with Mike taking Errol's role and dragging us all round, I didn't hold Andy so was left worrying about Errol, but just held him on the line.
The ten K was a taste of things to come I fear, held on for a while the pace told, well done to Vish for staying the course that bit longer, and Tanya snatching the podium was a great bit of racing, go girl. (Heck who is this Vinnie person anyway.)
Very happy to make the top slot, great to have Vish next to me too. Will have to see if FISS wants me here or there. |
