am I reading that right... Recovery Drink every lap and 36-48l of energy drink in total!? |
Yeah - I said it definitely needs refinement I'm glad I have a review panel to identify madness in my methods!
Recovery drink was intended in between each lap when doing the 10-person shift (given the longer break between laps), though that might work out to be a quarter to half a serving. Likewise with food / energy drink intake, probably half what I proposed, if at all.
Again, the aim is just to ensure that I am taking in food and liquids throughout the 24 hours whether it's when I think or feel that I should. Whilst I might not have the quantities properly worked out (in hindsight, 48l does sound challenging!), the content is pretty much there.
And yes, I've been using Torq since it's been made available to us, at training sessions (bike and skates), so know that I'm (or my stomach is) at peace with it |
