Den 11. 111er
Voraussichtliches Datum ist das Wochenende vom 16./17. August 2008.
Detailliertere Informationen ab November 2007.
OK Vereine Inline One-Eleven |
Cant make sense of it, but I suspect that it means the race is on the 17th of August.
Now THIS IS THE BEST RACE IN EUROPE and I hope we will have a big contingent coming from London to do it. |

| From what I can tell it says that it's the 11th 111 and it takes place over the weekend of 16/ 17 Aug and detailed information will be available in Nov . |

| I may do this again, providing it doesn't interfere with the rest of my season (I was kind of tired for a few weeks after this years one) and hopefully I will improve quite a bit on this years effort. Have to agree with Alex, it's one of the very best races out there and it would be a real shame if more LSST people didn't do it in 2008. Awesome feeling when you finish and fantastically well organised. The course not only tests your endurance but your skating and thinking skills generally - varying terrain (up-hills, down-hills, turns going down-hill, wet, dry, varying pacelines, mixed start etc). |

| Well I'm in. Was always planning to do it in 2008. A bigger question is, who else is coming to the A2A in October? |

| Just registered for 111. I also booked the village option for another 40 Chuffies. That's kipping in the sports hall isn't it? |

Marty, you need to stop being 'tempted by this....' and actually do the event
As far as you being fit by then, you are fit enough now to complete this race distance, so if you were to sign up, then in that knowledge you know you would get even fitter, so come on do it.....release your potential |

| You also have the opportunity to tie it all in to a specialist, skating holiday. Once you've challenged yourself and raced your lungs out you can just float about on skates for a week, on smooth roads for miles and miles with lakes and mountains in the background whilst staying in a nice quality hotel with a lake view, super food, company and red wine. www.skate-escape.com |

| Just put my entry in too! I'd be interested to know what the course topograhy is like - there's mention of some hills and 'braking surfaces' - just how long are the downhill sections and is it worth practise my braking skills? I'd read somewhere about people hitting 60 kph in places - looking at some of the videos on Youtube, there seems to be a few places with some dodgy corners - particularly in the wet. |
