I have been looking for informations about parisians marathons... not that easy. But please keep in mind that I can use my parent house to host people and we could easily drive there for the week end to race.
If you have a race that you know about and want to do, just post it here, and we will try to organise it.
On a side note, there is also a marathon in Lille (not sure about the dates) and Lille is only 1 hour from the shuttle exit so can be done on a single day return.
found the link for all the Marathon races in France:

North of Paris
This is a marathon that start 15km from my parents house. I'm adding it to my calendar with the option of going there. If I go, there should be PLENTY of space to host in the parents house. A car would be requiered to comute.
Ideal would be to be on time for the Paris roller of the Friday...

Same day as Duisberg, but I'm doing so many in Germany this year that, it's quite appealing to race one somewhere else. Although if I want to do well in the German rankings this year, I'll have to find another one to get it up to 6. Dilemma.
At least the 43k is open to everyone and it seems to be only a 10€ entry fee. Double dilemma. |

Very pleasant local marathon ; org is very local too (better time yourself than rely on their system) but people are very friendly, location is good. You do not even need to registrate in advance.
5 loops * 8.3 km, no real difficulty, rather fast, partly in the forest : I love this little race, the PUC were 35 racers last year. 2 years ago, the third of each cat would collect a cushion.
The only marathon (except Paris) which I can reach by the tube (RER actually).
Highly recommended. And if your time is not exactly what you hoped, no worry about media cover . |
