Cheers,
Andy.

IMO the best way would be if the 4 of you (George, Garan, Rick and Dave) could rent a van and take the ferry since you will need to take camping (and a lot of other...) stuff just like for Le Mans. There are other options but they will probably be more expensive and more complicated. Please feel free to share your thoughts about it here!
Racedays look like this:
Friday 3 september
09.00 - FlevOnice open
12.00 - Catering open
12.00 - Registration open
12.30 - Track open for warming-up
14.30 - Welcome and briefing
15.00 - Start Raps24KiKa
17.00 - Diner buffet open (extra cost and pre-register only)
23.00 - End of "dweilorkesten" (Dutch ice-skating music, in case you were wondering)
24.00 - End of music on track
Saturday 4 september
07.00 - Breakfast buffet (extra cost and pre-register only)
10.00 - Start music on track
15.00 - Finish Raps24KiKa
15.30 - Award ceremony
15.45 - Lotery and auction
Cheers,
Andy. |

| I'd be up for a drive. Done it a few times but a 4 seater vehicle means something like an SMax or and estate car to get the luggage in. A van would not likely have enough seats. |

I can sort transport out, with the company i've used for the last 2 Le Mans and all the Belgium races.
They do a 9 seater minibus with lots of luggage space or a large estate car.
With port are we thinking of sailing from? |

Unfortunately Garan can't make it...
So, who is up for a 24 hour race in Holland?
Team of 6, flat 5km track, camping next to the track, had a great time there last year with the ILSE team!
Cheers,
Andy. |

| Need to check prices of which route. I would expect Norfolk line Dover Dunkirk to be the most economical |

Hey Barrie!
It's 40 Euro for the race + split rental car/van and ferry costs + food and drinks.
So all in all it should not be much more than 100-150 Euro p.p. depending on car/van rental and how much/what we want to eat and drink (I can take care of the shopping), camping is free and next to the track.
Would be cool if you could join the team!
Cheers,
Andy. |

I hope that's not too much Barrie...
We would like to do this with a team of 6 LSST skaters if possible, so if one of you is interested please let me know as soon as possible.
Cheers,
Andy. |

Well I'm interested.
The only snag is that I'm doing Rhein on Skates the previous weekend but so is Rick and if he can manage the two, I suppose I can; especially if we all travel out together in a minibus.
So if you don't get any other offers(i.e. Barrie) and you don't mind a geriatric on the team, I could do it. |

Sorry Andy, I didn't see your first post.
It is too much for me to commit to now, and probably will be later too, but if that changes and there's a vacancy I'll let you know. |
