Hey Team,
Mike mentioned a video during Saturday's technique session, which triggered a question I thought worth posting on the forum.
What have people come accross that they consider the most useful aids on speed skating re DVD/Video (either on-line or bought) or books.
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Best,
Glenn |

| I quite liked the Salomon access to speed tape (thanks XSFred!), and I know that Chad Hedrick's DVD is out, don't have a copy though. |

I have the Chad DVD, it's only 15 min worth of info and some US fun (not funny).
Just the basics in equipment and technique plus a bit about DP.
I got it as a present but I don't think it's worth buying to be honest. |

Thanks for the Chad DVD review! I won't bother then.
Oh, I'd recommend Joe Friel's the Cyclists' Training Bible. Very good writeup, well worth following the gen in there, and surprisingly applicable to skating.
p.s. Am I in your bad books Andy? |

My copy arrived this morning, but I haven't had time to get very far with it yet (except as necessary to determine that either my upper body movement or my self-image of my upper body movement is all entirely wrong)

Well, I guess where more friendly; don't know about the rest.
I've just ordered a copy - so happy to lend after I've had a chance to read through it. |
