Anyone fancy going?  I'll probably cross-post on Serp Road.

Next Bout: November 21st versus Birmingham Blitz Dames - Get your ticket now!

The Birmingham Blitz Dames are coming down to Londontown for some pre xmas roller derby action vs London Rockin' Rollers!

The Rockin' Rollers are determined to dethrone recently crowned #2 team in the UK, while Birmingham are sure to be looking to blitz the Londoners on their home turf. These two teams have not met on the track since 2007 where the Blitz Dames won by a single point.

21st November in York Hall, Bethnal Green, as always, doors open at 4PM

5-15 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green, E2 9PJ

Tickets are £10 - 5pm start.

Cheers Hooli!  With it starting at 5pm, what time does it usually finish?

Tanya and I are coming to check it out.  Anyone else?  Barrie?

i didtn see you there but im fairly oblivious on any given day, did you end up making it??
For anyone who didn't we won 179-61, yes a very large score difference against a team who were ranked #2 in this summers european tournament, so we are very very happy!!

Unfortunately it was a last minute pull out - and it sounds like we missed a cracking match...well done!

I'd definitely like to make the next game.  As Fred asked, how frequent are these?

Um, you had valid reasons, and I still could have gone.  However, I was also trying to nap beforehand, given the rather intense indoor session that morning (thanks Fred and Tanya), but needed more zzzzz.

I was grateful for the extra recovery time, but will make the effort to come to the next match (assuming it's in London Smile)

next season starts in feb, away in glasgow feb 13th, feb 28th I believe is our first home game it will be intraleague, so two teams from our own league will play each other, as opposed to our all star team who played this sat. I'll keep you posted.
Some girls are planing on coming this sun if the weather is good Smile
