Anyone know the timings of the race? Just interested to know what sort of time I should be booking chunnel trains. The flexible ticket looks kinda pricy.
This is still a bit pie in the sky, but it's a forigen race, and kinda cheap.
Would be taking the motor, with at least three, staying over night in Lille, the Etap I would think. |

Marathon is 14:30-16:30
Open is 11:30 - 13:30
I'm registered for the Open.
We (Alastair J and Fred) are travelling on the Sat night.
<edit>I gave a time that meant PeterC et al would be racing with kiddies </edit>

The 9-11am race is for young skaters between 6 and 15 years old.
The Marathon is 14h30 - 16h30 for licensed skaters. |

I'm stuck in the National category wich is racing with the elite skaters the marathon.
I tried to switch to the open category because of the problem I was experiencing with my carve muscles.. but the federation told me that it wasn't an option as I raced Paris in the elite category.
So I'm going to skate in this category this season.

Karine, if my poor French serves me, does this mean that if you leave things until less than ten days before the race (like now, for instance) you can only register on the day, in person?
If that's the case, are we pretty much guaranteed to be able to register on the day, or do they have a limit on numbers, which means they might 'sell out' and leave us as spectators if we turned up?
Thanks! |

I think the limitation is just the price, you should be able to register online, it's what I did for Rennes.
Register on the day is possible for open races, only problem is when you want to enter the marathon as it has to be done 30 days before the race (in theory).
I will recommend to register on line and bring with you the confirmation email. |
