Does anyone know the date for this year's Santa Skate already?
I've heard rumours that it is supposed to be the 2nd advent.
As Merten, Mareike and I definetely wanna come over for this we are searching for cheap flights.

So if anyone knows something more concrete about the date please let me know.

It's weather dependant. It will most likely be scheduled for 2 weekends before Christmas weekend so 9th/10th but may be delayed by a week if there is a lot of rain that weekend. That would be a last minute thing though. It's not concrete as the organisers may have other plans which clash with that weekend. I will try and get them to commit to something.

The date for the Santa Skate has been set for Saturday 16th December starting at 5pm.

Right. I have just booked flights for this. We are on this connection:
Arrive Saturday 16th, 7:25am (Gatwick)
Leave Monday 18th, 7:10pm (Gatwick again)

So we'll have all weekend in London for XMas shopping, Santa skating, maybe an LSST christmas do?

I will buy you some tickets. They are £10 each which includes your santa suit and party entry after. Are you needing somewhere to stay?

Yep. It can be moved to Sunday but it will not slide a week due to that being Christmas w/e and the streets being too crowded with last minute shoppers.

I wouldn't bring the blue santa suit. The idea is to all look as santa, the effect is very impressive when you see all of us passing by, but it make a stain when only one or 2 wear something different. doesn''t look good at all.
