| Well that was a lot of fun. Loads more grip than Ipswich, bigger circuit. Well done to everyone that went especially great to see our clean sweep of the cat 3s |

You looked pretty good yourself in the second race until the fall. It was a great start and you were well over half way at the crash. You took out 5th place too which was quite impressive, not impressive enough to let any team members into the podium positions though.
Incidentally there seemed to have been a little mixed up in the results between David and Peter. David was 2nd in the first, shorter race and Peter 3rd. The positions were reversed in the longer race. The longer distance result takes precedence in this event and Peter should have been awarded overall 2nd. Peter said he didn't want to raise a complaint so technically the result stands, but maybe settle it with a drink?
Since we have not come up with a system of fair measurement for rankings in category races then I am not scoring this or any other track races for club rankings. We don't get more than 2 times for the championships so we probably can't use those either, so just the marathons rankings will be used this year. |

Ah, is that how it worked?
We didn't know whether it was the race with heats (so 16 laps altogether) or the longer no-heat 10-lap race which would take precedence. Was going to suggest to you that we got equal ranking in any club scoring system for that anyway. (When I was still making the assumption my second was valid.)
Guess I owe you a beverage then, Peter.
Possibly one of those fancy ones ones with metal in it? (Though we'll have to be careful of the ribbon... ) |

You will have to talk to Bry, she has the medal now, anyway, no beer required for a bit, I'll just make you do a long driving stint tomorrow night.
BTW has Serp road just gone down? |
