| I think I'm going to duck out tonight, not feeling at my best and the garage calls... |

Now Peter, excuses like this should not come after you have already stated its the tech training you want to miss
As it happens I'm with you, prefer the speed sessions to the gruelling tech, but I have a genuine reason for not going tonight.....well thats my excuse anyway
Kat is obviously very keen, she is going all on her lonesome!
Have fun in the garage |

Not much technique, just lots of ice time doing relays, nice change. |

Okay, that was a first last night, tiring ice training...
Early ice, did all of the pads for one end with Troy, a warm up and then relay, three laps in three times, so far so good.
With Ben and Jen.
ahhh, okay time to raise the game just a touch then. Late for the first change, but its nice to be able to shove as hard as you can knowing that Ben can handle it, or at least bounces.
Then 7 laps sets three times, at swiftish pace either leading or chasing, then a break, that I so needed before 5 laps three times, down to 13 seconds a few times (killed me)
Finished with a relay, same team, two laps in three times, just about kept it together, but I was happy to finish there.
Yes, I was streached for the first time in a none technique session. Felt damn good though. |

Hi there,
I just introduced myself in the General area - and since I live and Guildford I'm quite interested in skating on ice instead of wheels until the weather gets better...
As far as I know the sessions are on Monday and Wednesday and some of you here go there regularly.
Do you plan to go there the next time, perhaps even already today?
I'm looking forward to your replies

I will probably restart ice skating soon.
And I was wondering who was still going and how often ?
I will try to go once a week, is the ice ring closing at all during the year ? |

As far as I know Peter C is the only one still going...
I've finished for the summer (unless it rains lots), the journey is as bad as Tatem, and I'd much rather spend my evenings outside. |

I want to go once a week throught the season, so I can get the most out of next winter training on the ice.
But like you mentioned, the journey is long and there are many occasion to skate outdoor in the summer. |

I'm still playing, (in fact I should go soon)
Moday seems to be faster and more enduro, group 2 is much stronger on a Monday at the moment. Wednesday a bit quieter and less speed in group 2 but the numbers are still strong.
After the club race this wednesday I'll be doing other things on a wednesday evening. Anless it rains.
But yes, I'm going to keep on going, in this heat for sure... |
