In preparation for Le Mans and generally for skating / training at this time of year, when there seem to be plenty of bugs, grit, dust etc in the air, I bought some glasses.

My new glasses are Enduro Stingray (which have four lenses). The lenses are Clear, Persimmon, Light Smoke and Dark Smoke (polarized). I'm guessing the two smoke coloured lenses are for daytime use and I'll probably use clear on the night shift at Le Mans. What's the persimmon for? Or can anyone give a detailed description of what each colour lens is for? Thanks.

Such yellow or orange-ish lenses are supposed to increase contrast, e.g. in bad weather conditions. I also tend to use a clear lens for the Le Mans nights.
