Edit: I wrote the post without a motivational tag line, and considering its sunday mornings, and early at that, its needs it:
Early sunday morning is the time of the week no one ever sees! its great! its invigorating! and we all have a good laugh especially when its frigging cold. Imagine, its 11.30 on a sunday morning and you're already feeling all good about yourself, your body feels like a finely tuned machine. And then onto the Vic for a relaxing fire side stretch and sunday roast, with the sounds of endorphine fueled cheery banter. Bliss.
-------------------------------------------------
Hillingdon on Sunday. If you havent been before, its a 1 mile cycle track loop, very nice, empty - good for endurance.
Glenn and I were going to get the train from Paddington, but Duracell has kindly offered his car and driving services...
So, I believe its 8.30 from Shepherds Bush, but will have to await confirmation from Duracell for the time.
I have a 12pm lesson in HP...

| I will be in Hyde Park, and will likely do an LSS from 10.30-11.30 since I have a lesson before and another one after this, weather permitting. Don't rely on me though... |

Have checked with my social secretary (who also has influence in the car pool) and can confirm that our Pale Blue Locker is available for transport from the Bush* at *shudder* 8:30am.
Mentioned it to Tom last night on the skate, and I believe that he was keen too. (Please confirm, Tom.)
So that's room for one more at a real squeeze. (It's not a hugely long journey, though, so probably bearable for that distance.)
*Note that the Central Line is not going this weekend, so you'll need to either bus or come via the Hammersmith and City line. |

Other options:
- skate (duh!) or walk (Tom)
- I could pick you guys up in the car a little later than 8:30am... |

im really worried about my lesson. im trying to change it to 12.30, but havent got through yet.
Glenn I believe will be cycling, so no trouble for him, I... may skate with my freestyle skates, with my speeds on my back, esp since I have a lesson straight after, and will need those skates anyway. I may end up being a pack horse... |

Late-breaking news.
Tom's out on another birthday bender, so he's not coming.
A space is therefore left, if someone else wants to come...
Nomes, if time threatens, we can always drop you at a Piccadilly Line tube station, and you'll be at Hyde Park Corner in no time!
Oh, and if you are reading this and it's still tonight, GET TO BED!
[edit] Actually, I'm aiming to get back to the park for Mike's speed class by noon, so we should be leaving Hillingdon early enough for you anyway... [/edit] |

| Nice session - would be great to go for the full instead of the half next session if others are interested - should be less hick ups getting there next time. |

Whoooooaaah! I'm so tired, I've lost a tremendous amount of fitness over the holidays. I'm shattered, just from my cycle commute and teaching both days, and a bit of skate training in Hyde Park today.
At least I can feel a bit of benefit from the weights and dryland I've been doing, not much mind. |

| yea - but it must be a whole lot more difficult teaching, training and communting - I find it difficult enough training and being a participant - that's partially why I had to leave early today - really missed my bike today though - as I used public transport to commute. |

yeah. usually I would, but today, I had the lessons to get (with energy) back for, but also id been training my legs very hard for a few days, and this was the last day before i give them two full days recovery, and I didnt want to bully them too much. I could really feel on the straights (usually my strong bits) that it felt like pushing through treacle. |

You back for Tuesday night, Naomi?
I'm thinking of going to the Serpentine spinning session at 7:45pm on Tuesday night, if it is open to all. |

wrong thread! this is the sunday thread! we should try to keep the threads from going off topic I think because they become no use to people who dont check the forum all the time... (back to the Q though, im not back, but thanks). |
