I'm looking to run a 500m sprints session on South Carriage Drive, meeting at 10.00 on Sunday 15th April. Members are welcome to come along.
I may well start running them more regularly if I have sufficient motivation to do any skate training this year. I realise this is on the LSST track day, but some people won't be going to that.
Disclaimer
* Safety is the main concern.
* You need to be able to look after yourself skating on rough surfaces.
* Since this is a little higher intensity than usual, it's up to you to judge the fine line between good control and tiredness + resultant crash.
* You need to look out both for yourself and any other users on this road. We don't have priority, and it's better to abandon a sprint for safety than to have a crash. |

| Want me to come along with the wheel to measure an exact 500m? |

| That's very kind of you! No need though, I have a 500m there already, and can always remeasure using either bike computer or GPS. |

True, I would like nothing better than to be there, but I have to work, and I can do the training beforehand. It's only intended for those who're not going anyway. |
