Keeping a close watch on the weather...

Hopefully the predicted rain passes through and the track is doable this evening. Otherwise I have my stuff for spinning with me, and will go do that.

I was supposed to make it, but I changed my lesson to this morning and have done a ride on the fixer instead.  Two weeks time maybe.

I'm planning on going weather permitting. Look forward to hearing your weather call, Gav - would be great if you let us know either way - I'll need to leave at 5.30 for about 6.20.

The forecasts for Palmers Green ( www.accuweather.com and www.weather.co.uk) are for possible rain up to 5pm and then a dry evening  Confused

Better than any forecast for a short time in the future! Looks like it will be clear... at this rate it's definitely on. I will check again at 4:30.

Good tip from Gav there, that's one I use a lot myself.  Two other good weather sources are the webcams (i.e. looking out the window):

http://www.londonskaters.com/weather_webcams.htm

And the metoffice hourly forecast.  It's kept up to date every few hours, and is the most reliable one yet:

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/today.asp?zipcode=London+City

I watch these three all the time when deciding whether to cancel lessons.

Yea great session and good team building drills - will be great if we apply it to the actual races and some of us can race as a team when we do compete. Hopefully my skate fitness will improve with each session.
