Dear All
I would like to enlist your help with carrying out some maintenance to the track at Tatem Park.
Those of you who were at training on Tuesday will remember I mentioned it then.
I would like to dig out the drainage channels at the top end of the track to clear the puddled water and fill the channels in with the gravel which Enfield Council have provided (in the big bag on the grass next to the track).
As our club are the main users of the track, I hope you'll see this as working to help keep our track in top condition and maintain it's status as one of the top skating venues in the UK.
I am planning to do the work one Sunday morning between now and the British Championships on 10th / 11th October. I know there are one or two of you who will be away on 19th / 20th at Berlin, so I may do this on Sunday 13th.
The work shouldn't take more than an hour or two, so please sign up by replying below giving an indication of whether the 13th is good for you. You will need to bring a spade along with you unless someone has more than one they can bring ?
Thanks in advance..... |

| I'd like to help, but I'm spadeless...unless spares are brought along, are there any non-spading activities to do? |

Using the wheel barrow to move the gravel would be helpful Ed.
Pamela - we can do this before 11am as that suits me too ! |

Will there be a training session afterwards (for those still capable of it)? |

| I've invited my mum and dad, and asked that they bring spades (although I'm not sure how many they have) - so that's a potential four people. |

Had a message late this afternoon from Enfield Parks dept, and we can have use of their wheel barrow, and some spades.
So it looks like Ed and Pamela will be able join in too !!! |

| Not 100% sure at the moment what time we'll start, but I guess 9.30am would be good. If that's too difficult due to the distance people will be travelling, then we could start at 10am as we would for a training session. |

| I have a spade and appear to be free that day though whether I bring spade may depend on what I am doing/where I end up on Saturday night. |
