It was quite a challenging session from a coaching perspective - new faces, both Rio and Charlie coming along.
Thanks to everyone for coming along, and to the skaters for being patient and self-sufficient with the drills. And thanks to EdP for the suggestion of flying lap times.
I appreciate that with the mix of people, it's not been easy to offer guidance, feedback etc. However, everyone has been working hard this season, and it has paid off in terms of results.
I think that the winter sessions will be especially important for those that have joined Tatem sessions this year, as there will be a lot more focus on technique. Since a lot of people have made the transition to speedskates, this will really help with trying to get the best out of them.
Of course, feedback in terms of how the sessions are perceived are quite invaluable.
If there are things that people feel could help make the session more effective / beneficial, we would more than welcome your suggestions.
