Clearing the track this time round was a bit painful indeed I only had a small brush so it took some time, I will check out for a better one and buy a couple so that we can make it less painful
it was a good workout though  |

Cheers Fred for all your efforts, it's really appreciated.
From what I have read icy conditions are likely to hit London sooner rather than later this year.
If that's the case and there's still interest in doing an off-skate, is there any value in doing that more centrally given most of us live more centrally. There's also the possibility fo skating indoors.
Just thought that it was worth thinking about alternatives now, as looks like we are headed for an unpleasant winter and from memory, when it get's icy, Tatem becomes too dangerous to skate more quickly than other surfaces like HP.

As a bonus for me, a more central off-skate would be much more do-able for me ( and presumably other "southerners" ).
( Part of me is really keen to get to Tatem on Sun mornings, but part of me is realistic that the round-trip takes up too much of the weekend ( plus petrol and general annoyance at traffic! ).) |
