If you have the option to get a 3*110 it wiould be better (assuming that's an option).
Moving from 90 to 110 in one go is a big change. To some extend you would probably be better off trying 100 through the winter and movig up early 2012 to 110. |
+1
I have a set of 100mm three point frames if you want to borrow? |

Thanks, I appreciate the offer.
Are the boots different for the 3x110/1x100 or is it just the frame? |

Hey Ben - just wanted to check you got my email about the other brands and to try on as many boots as you can, for as long as you can. As I mentioned before, my feet are best suited to stock boots from Bont.

With Bonts, the S7 frame will fit on all boots that take 4 x 110mm wheels. They also make a specific boot for that frame which has the deck height as low as possible, but means you can't fit 4 x 110mm frames - I think this references the wheel arches conversation that Richard might have been talking about. |

Good point... it looks like the same deck height as the s-frame, so it won't lower a standard 3-point boot? ( can always compare to Glenn's... )
Both 33.5mm, shame... but it's 0.4" shorter ( 10mm presumably... ) |

So I think I'm going to go down the 3x110 1x100 route. Not sure that I'm going to get much of a chance to try anything on so I'll probably have to put my faith in the quoted sizes and cross my fingers.
So my next questions are:
Where do I get them from? I'm looking at either powerslide or luigino (I think, anyone with any feed back on these?).
I assume it's easier to buy the frames, wheels and bearing separately to do the 3x110 set up?
If so, where is best to source wheels online? And why do I see some people using different wheels (I assume densities) in positions 2 and 3 in their skates?
Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for the help. |

| David, but I don't think he's working tomorrow. Is there another day that you can go? |

Who just in case you didn't know, was in another LSST team at Le Mnas, short blonde hair, baggies and a LSST cycle top. |

| I went to club blue room yesterday. They've got a 50% sale on all of they're powerslide speed skates as I was told they're not going to stock speed skates any more. Unfortunately the 45s were a smidge too small and they didn't have any 46s. I've asked if they could do a special order for me, they're going to check with the boss and get back to me. |
