If anyone is interested, I will be in London tomorrow on business. If any of you guys train on Wednesday evenings, it'd be great to come along and skate.

Let me know!!!

But you cant wear lycra. We understand that this may be very difficult for you to come to terms with, but think of it as 'healthy denial'.

A helmet is fine though. And probably a good idea.

Chris, I was thinking about mentioning the NTWNS/Suicide skate but couldn't quite find the words.

It's not a training run, sometimes it's quick, but not in racing terms, and there are lots of twists and turns (so add a few hockey/indoor moves) There will be traffic, and perhaps some stairs and little or no reguard for the road traffic regs.

I'll try and be up for it, but it's also a night when I meet the girlie so.

Bring a phone, and a tube card, (perhaps a mini A to Z if you have one.)

We should also put in a testosterone warning. There is lots of it. Being at the front is like having the biggest antlers. So although it is not fast in the same way as a race, there is not one male that arrives at the end with anything to spare.

I mean some speed skaters do the NTWNS, and it can be quick, but it isn't racing, well, not like I've seen it, but then again I don't have Vince snapping at my heels.

If I go I'll be in street skating gear, those that manage it* in 5s usually get ribbing from some but my respect.

*and the occashional half time game of Bulldog somewhere in the city.

Till now.

Front also dictates direction too, though I can see Ken just letting him go.

Think we have scared him off of he has signed off?

If it does not rain I'll be there.  It's the best workout I get all week.

Staffy, Sparky is our fastest street skater. He is our God. We worship the way he has cheated death on the streets time and time again.

ahem... there once was a time where I could've competed for that title. Now I don't fit into that category anymore Sad

Chris, no formal training tomorrow due to darkness still prevailing. I was planning to go to gym to do weight training. But if you keen to get a bit of alternative street skating in, I would prob come along on the suicide skate instead.
