Hi all
I'm spending some time out of London at the mo so thiniking about different places to skate/train.
I've heard Dorney Lake is a possibility - has anyone tried it out and if so, is it obvious where you can train there, what's it like for skating etc!
Cheers

Dorney is fab for skating! Just be careful not to skate in front of the Clubhouse as there might be kids to-ing and fro-ing there. We were asked to skate behind the building a couple of years ago. The upper path is safer to skate on as the peds usually stick to the lower path.
Also, just FYI, do not attempt to skate behind cars on the access road, they'll tell you off
Not sure how to get there on train |

| I was there on Monday and it was really quiet. Just make sure you check the calendar 'cos they run a lot of events up there. I've not had any issues even with triathlons running, but you need to watch for where the race is running, so you may not be able to do full loops. |
