To recap. I have a car, can do Richmond on Sunday, I just need to be back at HP for the Stroll at 2pm. Not sure if I can do early enough for Olivier (finish before 10? that means getting there at 08:30!) but I could be persuaded if enough people are up for it.

Hans and I were there this morning. We started at 10:40 in the end, and the roads were very slippery, esp. in certain patches, by our 3rd lap things had dried up a fair bit and it was pretty good.

Traffic wasn't too bad the whole time through and we skated for 1:15.

Having done this today, I think I will go to HP and do sprints tom morning at 11.

Fog is forecast for this morning in the area. If so it will mean low visibility. Wear a high vis. vest. It will probably also mean extended dew so very slippery. Because of this last bit and me being a bit tired in parts today, I am going to have a wee lie in instead of going to Richmond. See you for the stroll.

Hans & I started sprinting around 10:15. HP was really busy by 10:30. Looks like a return to the dreaded 9:00 start next time. Then Hans ran a repeat of his marshal training session (included low walking - aaaaarrrrghhhh!). Followed by the Stroll - a lovely but tiring day. Thanks to my stretches I'll probably be able to walk again by next week.

hmmm... 9am starts are not for winter. It's too early/too cold/too wet. Was prob just a nice day so were lot's of people about.

I did end up going down in the afternoon - just before 3pm, planning to do sprints on S. Carriage drive. It was just too slippery though, so I gave up and went to gym instead.

Tried to call you guys to see where the sunday stroll was ... but you didn't answer  Crying or Very sad

I do not have an internet connection at the moment so I missed all the messages Smile

anyway after last week gym sessions I was no longer able to skate safely. So I just went to the LSS.  Hopefully I will have recover in a couple of days.
