Another nice race in good old Germany. This one is on the borders of Hamburg, one of the few remaining inline only events which do not have a multiple-lap course. Claimed to be very fast as it's all flat. I have not done it, but Michi and me will be racing for our teams this year. It's also GBC so I reccon on Gavin's list as well.

Race information:
Distance: Full marathon / half marathon
Location: Wedel (next to Hamburg)
Date / Time: Sunday, August 13th, 2006, 9am
/
Fees, entry, ...
Timing system: GBC - chip included
Fees: Marathon 42 EUR, half 23 EUR. Ends August 3rd.

See http://www.wedeler-inline-cup.de if you can read German, or post here if there are questions.

*bump*
Anyone who wants to go there, there's a special sale on www.germanwings.com (Gatwick->Hamburg) that just started...
Ryanair is also doing offers at the moment!

This also works for Prezelle double marathon... maybe worth to have another look!

FYI: as Wedel is a part of Hamburg where I live I can offer a lift or some space to sleep for people who are interested.

I think I might be up for this one  - I could swing past Hamburg and then head down to visit my sister and Abigail.

ummmm... ok so not so perfect.

was just checking my flight times for munich this weekend. Found the email.. departure date 15-July, Lufthansa. 'Tick tick tick' goes gav's mind. To Hamburg?? But... and I thought I was on EasyJet. Gav finds separate EasyJet email. Gav thinks when he was going to be flying to Hamburg. Gav thinks what month he was meant to be flying to Hamburg. Gav will be phoning Lufthansa tomorrow to see if he can change tickets in any way   Embarassed   DOH!!!

Whats on in Munich this W/E? I have been looking at flights as was thinking of going to ISPO http://www.ispo.de/englisch/sports_community/fs/portal.cfm?LNG=2 to meet up with a guy from Gyro Wheels, South Korea who is at the show.
Flights are all pretty horrendous so looks like I will nix it
