Adrian will be at Tatem tomorrow (Tues). I won't be as the physio has said I shouldn't skate for at least 3 days.

I'm glad you said that - I thought it was fast, but watching Sparky cruising, it just felt like I was slow.

Plus I hadn't done a proper skate in my speed boots, let alone skate it without socks or ankle booties.  Methinks I need to do more frame alignment, and to skate slower when I feel my technique is suffering when trying to maintain high speed.

Not sure it was fast in terms of top speed but we didn't stop in either direction so we maintained a very high average.

Looks like nobody is going to Tatem so I can have another rest day. I certainly need it at the moment

8?!?!?

I was going to head there for 6pm...maybe I do have time to go home and get them, but then I've brought my stuff with me already and would mean I carried it for no reason.

Decisions, decisions.  I'll see how I feel.  Perhaps I should make an effort.

I'm good to go, but I'm going to do distance on Sunday rather than sprints.  I've been doing too little skating of any kind lately, and a bit of extra endurance work will be better for me than sprints leading up to the L2B next weekend.

To be honest my knees are feeling incredibly tired and I seem to have picked up another cold so I have no plans to skate until next week. Except Saturday's hill session. Don't want to pick up an injury going back on the Vitamin C diet to clear myself out.

Might be up for sprints on Sunday if my knee armour has dropped off by then, and I can find my GPS charging cradle between now and then (to time myself).  Otherwise I'm just doing two LFNS bike sessions this weekend.
