I would love to do Le Mans this year! Can't do it because:
1 - 24 hour solo is a bit too much (for now)
2 - entry has closed anyway
3 - would do it in a team (read: you guys), just don't have the money |

| Professionals receive money. I am a full time skater but not a professional. Mike is a professional. |

Hi guys,
Did it! The full 200km, 20km/h.
After 11,5 hours on skates (a few short breaks in there) my feet are killing me and I feel like sleeping for 2 days.
Cheers,
Andy. |

| Wow! Take a very long hot bath somewhere and try not to think about your feet...or your legs....or anything. Just bask in your accomplishment. Nice work. |

This 200km course was flat exept for some bridges and fly-overs. Half the roads were pretty bad though...
-first 40km OK roads
-next 100km absolute sh*t roads
-last 60km good roads
By the time we got to 140km feet and legs were dead from all the vibration, we were sooo glad the last 60km was much better.
If the last 60km would have been like the 100km before it I doubt if I would have been able to make it, and I wasn't the only one in the group thinking that... |

Fook me Andy, that's well impressive! I'm seriously impressed with your skating doing a feat like that.
Of course I was rather gutted you did almost the same average speed as I did the 170km last week, only on my recumbent. The only thing that made me feel a bit better about that was the 2080m of climbing in Kent. |

Back on topic here is a dictionary definition of endurance:
| Brainydictionary.com wrote: |
| The act of bearing or suffering; a continuing under pain or distress without resistance, or without being overcome |
So it's like life then. |
