I thought I'd give you a bit of a summary of how I feel those sessions have been going. We have been running indoors for two months and attendance is usually around 10 skaters which is good.
The way I approach those session is currently mainly aimed at improving technique, so it is a great session to practice. It can be tough at first because we do have a lot of drills which are often taxing on the legs.
So far I have been very pleased with the commitment you have shown, as well as the dedication trying to improve, I am very happy with the improvements you have all made, from my perspective it is very noticeable how much of an impact the sessions have on you and that's great, you might not see it just yet, but you will definitely notice it come the racing season.
So keep it up, we are now looking at an additional 2 months to work some more on the technique you require. practice is the key ! If you have not tried the indoor sessions yet, now is the time |
