Another early season race - a half marathon in Berlin. This is quite a big event, last year there were 1.600 skaters. Entry 25€ until February 17th, 35€ afterwards.
Entry form: http://www.davengo.com/e.php/en/9DB8FFEA/pro.
I'll probably not got there, but maybe it is of interest to somebody. Quite a lot of top skaters will be there, it was class B last year.

Why not doing Hannover? That one costs only 10€ entry fee.
And I think Merten and I will be there |

No offense ment...OK, I did not assume that would do more than one half marathon...
Well, I'm curious about your final decision on Hannover |

Starting to be tempted by this as a warm up race.
Registration price doesn't go up until 18th Feb so plenty of time to decide.
Looking around at how cheaply it can be done and I see the RyanAir schedule is not sorted out for that far in advance yet. Only to 25th March, so it may be possible to book next week.
Race is in the morning so need to pick up race packs on the Friday which means the later flight out would not be possible unless someone was going ahead with everyones chips and paperwork.
I will wait for the RyanAir Schedule to be published before making a final decision. AirBerlin schedule is published and the best fares available mean a £122 round trip
Looking at the registration I find I do not have a previous halfmarathon time. My best time in at the half way point in a full marathon is just over 40mins. |

Uh oh... Hope you did not book flights yet! I've just rechecked because your flight dates said Saturday.
Date is April 2nd!
No idea why this went wrong, I'm perfectly sure the page said April 1st before. Hope no damage was caused... |

Not booked anything. Yes, it did say 1st April before. I double checked all the websites before putting them in the calendar.
Sunday is good. No need to take a day off work so even more of a possibility now as a warm up race. The flight cost is £62.61 with RyanAir. Need to have somewhere to stay on Saturday night.

davengo have closed the online registration. Anyone know if it's possible to register on the day?
Better register for the full marathon while I'm here ... |

From what the website tells me you can register on the fair if the participants limit of 2500 is not reached, cost is 35 EUR.
Only possible from March 30th until April 1st. |

| Oh, so it does. Foolish me, looking in the registration section instead of the information section. OK, I've booked flights and hostel, let's see if I'm lucky. If not, it's still a weekend in Berlin and I'm sure I can find something to do. |
