is there anyone with size 10 to 11 feet and will let me try their speed skates for fit. I think that I'm 10.5 with above average width. my ankle bone sticks out a fair bit too - not sure how normal this is though!
Was looking at the Bont boots, rollerblade was a little to narrow for me

I have got size 46 feet, which may be a little large. You are welcome to try my Mogema boots though.

A word of warning though. My current Mogemas R1 - Rhino were replaced under warranty; they are actually a much better boot than the model that was replaced, but importantly for your purposes they are also a fair bit wider.

Its great that they are wider, but it does go to show that you can't draw too many conclusions from trying on a boot that is not the same model and year as the one you intend to buy.

I'm not sure what model rollerblade boot you tried, but if your interested I've got a size 45, never been used, "old skool" rollerblade boots just sitting in my room not doing much, which i'm willing to let go at 60/70 quid, heres the pic (without frame n wheels)

And while I'm on the subject of selling stuff, if anyones interested, I will be selling my Mogema 3x100, 1x 84 frame in a few weeks as soon as I get my new custom setup sent to me.... its a very good frame, and fits the 165 standard spacing, I am only selling it due to my new boots come with a frame! heres the pic:
