Well Wout and crew have announced that there will be another tour and it will also be a different route to the south of Haarlem and back this time. I guess a similar distance as last year but route is yet to be finalised.
It runs from the 10th to the 14th May.
Last year it cost something like 130€ to include, guides, support vehicles, camping and breakfast.
What else do you get? Guides taking groups at different speeds from very fast to leisurely. A chance to meet skaters from all over the world. This year from Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway , Finland, Russia, Japan, USA, Switzerland, Poland and probably a few other places that escape my memory at the moment.
What do you need to do? Nothing just yet, but keep an eye on this thread if you are interested in skating between 300 and 400km in 5 days. Might be nice to regsiter your interest here too. |

Okay there is a slight change to this now. You must be there on Tuesday the 9th but I don't know where yet. Probably a short train and or bus ride from Schipol.
Website is here: http://www.skatefresh.nl/skating-index2.html
May combine it with either Hanover or Dusseldorf marathon this time so will car it over for the week again. |

Okay just got the update on this year. Price is up a little bit 155€ Still only £21 a day including camping, breakfast, guides and support vehicle so good value.
It's not a loop so anyone driving will need to park their motor by the finish in Delft. Everyone is camping there for the first night then we are bussed to the start.
It still goes to Amsterdam on friday and links up with their friday night skate to/from the Vondelpark.
Booking opens on Saturday. I shall be joining them again.
Anyone who fancies a nice skating holiday where you have to lay some serious distances down but not racing then this is a good one. If you want to join me for the Dusseldorf marathon on the previous Sunday, and do some more skating by the Rhine on Monday, then you are welcome to come in my car for the week. |

And your helmet.
They gave us a comprehensive checklist of things to think about last year which is good for almost any trip. Things like shades & suntan lotion, any medication you take. Bring some spare wheels/bearings if you want or even a spare pair of skates.
If can be quite windy so a thin windproof for when we stop is useful. Team jackets are essential |

| We stay on campsites so probably. Last year you could pay a little extra and sleep in cabins. Most of us used tents. |
