Ever since I was a puny, 2-month old skater following Etienne, Gav and Christophe around Tatem (thanks for your patience, guys!) this for me has been my supreme challenge - of all the races I've seen, this is the alltime biggie for me thus far.
I've finally managed to cajole/con Hans into being my trainer/pacer for this race; I've setting a time for myself (Hans has agreed to skate with me for 110km, bless him!)
I'm really excited! I'm not looking forward to the training (it's not the Crystal Palace uphills, only the Richmond downhill that I'm petrified of at the moment, LOL). |

| I've just registered *gulp*. Not sure whether I was more shocked by the course profile or by the 60 Euros entrance fee. Hope we get a nice t-shirt for that. |

So what about the other 1km? Is he planning on beating you in a 1km sprint to the finish???
Seriously now, it's great to have Hans's support for the full race! |

Great Natasha ! The One-eleven is the nicest race in Europe ; it also has an excellent time spent on skates/price ratio .
I hope you choose to sleep at the OLMA : do not miss the pasta at 5:30 in the morning |

The race I envoyed the most in terms of challenge, countryside, air breathing. |

€67 is pretty cheap for the distance compared to the marathons and not forgetting this is switzerland 100 CHuFfs.
The very best of luck in your endeavour. Don't forget to light up a fag just before you cross the finishing line.
So if Hans is doing it with you, who is going to the British Outdoor Champs now? |

| I'm tempted by this too, but I'd need more comfortable boots before I consider it. Think it's one for next year. |
