| Now I know where Etienne get's his style from the winner has a very similar look to him. Seems to be effective. |

quite embarassing
I will not laugh at him anyway as I fell in Dijon this week end
And I'm out of the business for 10 days...
Including the Paris marathon and the london marathon as well...
The size of my right knee just doubled |

oh no! hope it gets better soon
I like to be optimistic about these things, so look on the bright side - your knee is one inch closer to the finishing line |

Oh dear. No point asking how fast you were going.
If you can't skate on the Weekend, can you still help out at the LIM as track Marshal or something
Seriously though, get well soon. |

It wasn't that fast as I managed to fell by myself during the warm up (*biiiip* crossovers lol)
My first reflex was checking my skinsuit and then my knees... I was stuck at the red cross instaed of warming up and joined the line five minutes before the start. I could have done a great race regarding what I have done injured and without a warm up, but it's not a problem
I just returned so I managed to see my sport doctor in france and he think than 10 days of medics and some rest will make it, I asked him if racing next week end was an option, and he says that he will not recommend such a thing.
So, for once I will try to rest and hope I'll be ready for Le mans.
But still the second part of the race was great, and I'm quite happy the way I have skated.
Thanks for the encouragments |

| That's seriously bad news. Welcome to join me in the bad knee club. I have X-Rays scheduled on mine in 9 hours time to see if there is any arthritis setting in. That would really cap everything. Buggered from 1½ days into a year off and not much chance of a full recovery. Fingers crossed that it is something that will go away with rest. Something I promise to give myself in November! |
