Ok guys these are the new R2 POWERSLIDE with carbon fibre boot's with spirit frame's and 80mm wheel's !! I've only used them once and for just a few hour's. The reason for the sale is that my right ankle is week and so a proper cuff is needed. They are a size 12 and the price is £200 or nearest offer.
Tim.
p.s. for a pic check out www.powerslide.de/ |

| Stick at it dude. It was also very hard for me in the beginning. But now it's a piece of cake. More often than not, it's not weak ankles, but rather it takes a while to get the balance right. But that takes persistence only. |

I'd second that Kim. Tim, you're coming from FSK skates, which are not particularly good at strengthening up your ankles. In fact they are about at the opposite extremes of ankle support, no wonder you're finding it a bit tough.
If you want to work with it, give it time, skate 3 times a week on your speed skates for 10minutes at a time. Gradually increase the number of skates and the duration, and in a month or two chances are you'll find your ankles are strong like Russia.
If one ankle is suffering more than the other, then it might be worth looking at frame alignment. Perchance your feet are a little different and/or the frames are not mounted in the right spots for your feet. |

| Dude these guys are right, It took me about three weeks of "uncertainty" to get used to my carbon boots. Sticking with it will pay in the end. |

LOL you were flying from the start Hans.
Of course you were skating on Rollerblade Lightnings, which probably have similar amounts of ankle support to most speed boots, plus you were doing loads of training and other skating mileage. That really only left the extra frame length for you to adapt to. (I did the exact same route with my skates when I got my Bonts).
I'm not sure how much mileage you've been doing Tim, but I would bet Hans is and was doing many times more than most people, he's a skate nutter. |

Tim, I've just inherited Farhana's speedies so we can go through the pain together. Hang on in there, do you really want to do another marathon in your FSK's? I'm welded to mine, but I'm never racing in them again |

Suddenly I realise that it's halfway through May already and if I want to do anything this summer on big wheels, I had better get them sooner rather than later. Am I right in thinking that Skate Attack is the only real option locally for places I can actually try them on? I'm about a size 8, so pretty sure I'm not in the market for Tim's pair. |
