True. Eastbourne is going to be crap. Even more so than usual and is mainly on Saturday. SkateLondon is mostly freestyle competition oriented and is also mainly taking place on Saturday. I'm not sure many (or any) FISS track racers still go on Eddy's workshops, do they? However, some might be racing overseas.

Mmmm. Forgot about this race. Couldn't have cycled up to the track to give some vocal support. Did anyone from the club go?

Yes, I race in cat 2 and Chris did the RATs.
It was a good day. Hot and sunny. There were only me and Billy Moore in cat 2 so we raced with cat 1 for the longer race. I won the 500 but Billy won the 3k so got first on the podium. We did a points race and managed to stay ahead of Billy in that, (not that it mattered because cat 1 was racing too and they got all the points). James Ashby won thge points I think. The inter cat relay was fun, we came 3rd out of 4 in that .
There weren't that many people there because various people were at the Euros and other reasons, but was still fun. |

Yeah, bit of a clash for this one. Euros, IFSA in Southwark, Eastbourne, Eddy Matzger was supposed to be last weekend. Didn't see Eddy. Was he around?

Nope, he failed to book his flight in advance, and then couldn't get a seat last minute.
